Mark
received his Real Estate Salespersons license in
February of 1982, and his Brokers license in June
of 1988. He is very committed to continuing education,
having earned the CRS designation (Certified Residential
Specialist) in August 1996. Only 5% of the Realtors
nationwide have earned this designation, which is
awarded based on advanced education and experience.
Mark has taught continuing education classes at
the San Fernando Valley Board of Realtors and has
served on the Education Committee of both the San
Fernando Valley Board and the Pasadena Board of
Realtors. He served as Chairman of the Education
Committee at the Pasadena Board. Additionally, Mark
has been active on many other committees at the
local Board of Realtors throughout his career.
Mark
comes from a financial background, having owned
his own mortgage company in the Pasadena area. After
seven years and three branch offices, he felt that
he was too far removed from working with clients,
which is what he enjoyed most, so he went into residential
real estate with Paramount Properties. He built
a large practice representing banks across the country
in selling their local foreclosure properties.
Lisa
earned her Real Estate Salespersons license
in June
of 1998 and completed her Broker's license in March
of 2004. She has completed the requirements
for the
coveted CRS designation (click below for an
explination of that designation. (It is the
highest designation in Resedential Real Estate.)
She has recently earned her
e-PRO
certification. This is a new designation by the
National Association of Realtors given to
those
who have completed courses on Internet Real Estate
integration and Marketing. Lisa is also a
native
of the San Fernando Valley.
Prior
to real estate, Lisa has spent her career in positions
that have focused on customer service and marketing.
She has been the Customer Relations Manager for
a large automobile dealership in the San Fernando
Valley and has coordinated specialized marketing
campaigns and private sales between credit unions
and auto dealerships. She has also worked in the
corporate travel department for Paramount Studios,
and has held insurance licenses in Personal Lines
(auto and home) and Life.
Pardon
us, we're going to brag just a bit. It is VERY
rare for the two principles of a team to both
have "Broker's" licenses. It is even more rare
for both to have achieved the CRS designation.
We put out that effort so that our clients have
the benefit of vastly increased education and
experience. It is a 'real' benefit and we are
proud to offer it.
