OK,
we could make this nice and juicy. Or, we could just
cover the basics and play it nice and safe. Sorry,
but we just aren't up to the big risks. So...we'll
be a little basic.

Our

I
was born what seems like a very long time ago. January
31, 1958. I grew up in east Texas, moving to California
when I was 16 years old. I always remind Jennifer
that in Texas, we had to walk both ways to school.
And it was uphill both ways. Oh, the rough life.
I
had the normal assortment of teenage jobs: Jack in
the Box, Magic Mountain, UPS. I graduated from La
Canada High School in 1976. I was a little slower
in finishing my college degree, but I'm happy to say
I finally finished it May 2003. It only took 25 years.
I've always been a sports fanatic and a business entrepreneur.
I guess it's in my blood. Lisa and I got married January
23, 1999.

I
am a native of the San Fernando Valley, having lived
in Woodland Hills since 1969, and in Tarzana before
that. I graduated from El Camino Real High School
(2 time National Academic Decathlon Champs!) in 1978
under my maiden name of Lisa Hogan (for all of you
who are searching for your classmates!) My daughter
Jennifer was born in 1988 and currently we are all
experiencing the joy of her learning to drive!
I
have done quite a few other things before real estate.
I was in the travel industry coordinating corporate
and production travel for Paramount Studios, I was
an insurance broker specializing in auto and homeowners
insurance, but I think I was always destined for real
estate. I actually completed all my courses and almost
took the test for my real estate license when I turned
18, until I realized that most of my friends were
going to college not buying houses and the people
who were buying or selling were not thrilled about
dealing with an 18 year old with no experience. So
I chose those other career paths, which lead me right
back to real estate when I met Mark. I really enjoy
the process of helping people get the home of their
dreams…. or at least be happy with the one in
their current financial reality.
