Bell
Canyon is a unique gate guarded community that is
located on the western border of Ventura county, but
is only accessible from from the west San Fernando
Valley. It is a horse lovers community with many of
the present properties having extensive horse facilities.
The
parcels are often large, mostly over an acre and the
homes are large. Some homes have great views. There
seems to always be a few homes being built in this
community. Shopping, employment and entertainment
are all a fair (Texas talk) drive away, which is part
of the appeal.
This
area compares very favorably to the famous Hidden
Hills. It doesn't have the fame and it is a little
further away from the 101 freeway. And the prices
reflect that. The current price range for homes for
sale is between $850,000 and $2,000,000. (fall 2003)
