Reseda is a mixed area neighborhood in the San Fernando Valley. There is a large, vibrant business district and a wide demographic of residents. Main streets, such as Reseda Boulevard, Vanowen Street, Victory Boulevard and Sherman Way crisscross through this area.

There are several distinct housing areas, ranging from lower middle to middle quality and price. There are also many condominium and townhome developments that also range from middle to lower in quality and price.

The commute to employment is reasonable, as a quick drive south to the 101 freeway will get you on your way. The freeway is usually a little busy right in this area, but that is pretty much a fact of life in Southern California. In reality, the commute is manageable.

This may sound like a crazy item to put in here, but if you are ever in Reseda and are the slightest bit hungry, you really should stop by our favorite Mexican restaurant, called Melody's. It is always crowded and not very plush at all. But the food is fantastic. We make the drive just for that on a weekly basis. Why don't they have one closer?! Currently, Melody's is owned by the same people that own the more famous Las Fuentes, which is also excellent. Melody's is located near the corner of Vanowen and Reseda. Great Food!
