Sherman
Oaks is one of the prized communities in the San Fernando
Valley. It is located is the southern part of the
Valley, just East of the 405 freeway and straddling
the 134 freeway. The area is prized for many reasons,
however it's terrific location may be the most prominent.
The Westside, UCLA and Santa Monica are just minutes
away. While downtown Los Angeles is a little further,
you can be on your way on the freeway in just minutes.
Shopping
is another one of the very desirable features on Sherman
Oaks. Ventura Boulevard is known for it's excellent
shopping and dining. And the famous Sherman Oaks Galleria
has an attractive mix of offices, shops, theaters
and restaurants.
The
housing ranges from older, smaller homes in the Northern
part of the area that are middle to upper-middle level
to expansive Estates as you move further South. The
known "desirable" area is defined as "South
of the Boulevard". All things considered, Sherman
Oaks offers an excellent lifestyle and living accommodations.
