Studio City is located near the southeast corner of the San Fernando Valley, just to the east of Sherman Oaks. It is near the 170 freeway and the 134 freeway.

This is a very eclectic city with a marvelous flare. There are many unique shops, funky (and good) restaurants and coffee houses. There are several theatres featuring live performances. There is also more traditional shopping along Ventura Boulevard. It is a fun and fascinating place to call home.

The housing in this area is a little older and mostly middle to upper level. The hills are a little steeper and many of the houses offer great canyon or city views. There is a larger than normal for the Valley variety from one house to the next and this keeps it very interesting and intriguing. There are some parts in the "flats" that are a little more conforming. There is also a mix of small apartments and condominium/townhome developments in the flats.

This is an entertainment town with sound studios and sound stages, so there is a fair amount of this type of employment here. Due to the close freeway connections, commuting out of this area is pretty easy. Downtown is a close drive, as is Hollywood.

All these factors combine to make Studio City an interesting and fun place to call home.
