A
web site without traffic is painful. It takes a lot
of energy to dream one up, build it and maintain it.
There
is a recurring theme that having "Links",
both coming into and going out of a web site will
increase ranking in search engines. Does it work?
Certainly, the more popular the sites linking to you
are the most valuable. Link farms seem dangerous.
They may work now, but we are guessing they will be
frowned on in future ranking algorithms.
So,
does linking to other agents sites really help? Honestly,
we don't know for sure. But we think it probably does.
We set this page up to make it easier for you to submit
your link information to us and provide you with our
link information.
Our
policy is simple. If you link to us we will link to
you. We have a page per state. We will post a small
picture. If you don't provide a picture, we will post
a "Sorry, no photo" placeholder. We will
post your name, contact phone number and the cities
you service. Of course, a link to your web site will
be present. We have learned that linking popular keywords
is considered very effective. So, we will start off
your cities area with your top keyword phrase linked.
(limit to one keyword phrase) I also decided today,
that we will take the time to name your picture ALT
tag with your keyword phrase. This should make it
even more valuable. See an example below. Or

We
would prefer not to post your email address. They
can get that from your web site. And we don't want
to post information the spam bots will harvest and
throw into their spam machines.
We
do submit our Link page at least once every month,
so it will be indexed by the major search engines.
From what we can tell, this is a helpful practice.
If you are not submitting your link page, you are
not achieving full value from having it. It you have
someone doing the submissions for you, just ask them
to do your link page as well. If you are doing it
yourself, you might want to look into setting up a
schedule to do this submission.
