Car refrigerator

Oh, did Lisa ever give me grief for even thinking I wanted a car refrigerator. But, now, she can see the wisdom of my weirdness. When I'm in the field, I want to stay in the field. And it gets close to 100 degrees in the summer. I want something cold in the car, so I don't have to break my momentum. This does the trick. Lunch, water and one cold pack in this unit will keep cold all day. It really does work well. I would recommend the "low battery" cut off connector. This adds $28 to the cost, but makes sure you can still start your car. This unit cost about $100, and I'm sticking by this purchase. (Lisa's comment: As far as I'm concerned, nothing beats a fast food drive thru for a cold Diet Coke with ice! )

Portable Power Pack

This is something that was first presented on RealTalk. It is a rechargeable battery to run all your mobile toys/tools. It can recharge as you drive and will run computers, refrigerators, etc. without draining the car battery. I don't have one yet, but am thinking of getting one. I don't want to make AAA rich, giving me a jump because of my toys. Looks interesting.

Thermal Binder

This is another one of those items I had to do a good sales job on Lisa before she would let me get this toy. I first heard about it from Jim Lee on RealTalk. It sounded interesting and we needed something. So, we went for it. And now, we love it. There is a real high WOW factor when we present our material like this. We've had clients that specifically said we got the business because we looked so much more professional than the competition. This looks a lot better than the spiral systems. It did set us back a little under $130 to get it and about 40 cents a binder, but that's small potatoes compared to the impression. This was a very good decision.
