OK...
bear with me on this. Why is this page here? Actually,
I'm not asking you. I'm asking myself. Designing
a web site is kind of a big, complex undertaking.
We thought it would be good to show a little of
our fun side. You see, we REALLY
believe that if we work hard and take really good
care of our clients then we deserve to have a little
fun. So... why not have fun "while" we
take really good care of our clients. So, that's
our goal. Have fun and take really good care of
our clients. That's why you see the logo at the
bottom of all the web pages.
Some
people are really serious. All the time. I'm guessing
those people won't ever make it to this page. That's
OK. We wish them the best!
We
did want to explain "The Car". You probably
don't see a lot of real estate agents with cars
decked out like ours. What on earth made us decide
to do that to a perfectly cute PT Cruiser? Well,
I (Mark) had always thought it would be really fun.
A little dangerous, maybe. Bold, definitely. But,
what the heck... it fit the "fun" idea.
I had seen a few examples around the country. Getting
Lisa to buy in to the idea was a little tougher.
She finally came around.
We
had seen a car in the Mission Viejo area that looked
like what we wanted to try. So, we contacted them
and got their designer to work up a proposal. We
loved his design, ordered the car and dove in!

We've
had the car about a year and a half so far (mid
2003) and we still love it. Its really a blast and
fun to drive. People do stare and that takes a little
getting used to. The response has been very positive.
Only one real negative response. There are probably
some we don't know about. And, that's OK.
Would
we do it again? Absolutely! In fact we want to do
it to another car. Mark's ideas: Porsche Boxster
(yea, right) Hummer H2 (now, that would be cool!!)
Lisa's ideas: maybe another PT or maybe a VW Bug.
We'll see.
